Appeal for witnesses after pedestrian is injured in road traffic collision - Caversham

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that left a pedestrian in his 80s with serious injuries. 

The collision, between the pedestrian and a Grey Vauxhall Zafira, happened at around 4.30pm on Sunday (20/9) in Gosbrook Road, Caversham.

The injured man was taken to hospital and treated for multiple fractures. 

No arrests have been made at this time. 

Investigating officer PC Alex Jarratt, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to please get in touch.   

“I also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
